Atopic Dermatitis Causes

 

Genetics:

• Eczema tends to be hereditary

• Common in families with a history of allergies, asthma and hay fever

• Common in infants, most children have less eczema symptoms after age two

 

Triggers:

• Stress

• Anxiety

• Lack of sleep

• Change in temperature

• Exposure to water

• Exposure to preservatives in detergents, fabric softeners, soap, etc.
